Se Young x Aleebi - COUVAM
As a part of the EXPOSITION collective, I created this gritty chrome album artwork for Se Young and Aleebi’s dark and seductive single release. The soft metal body with hard lighting on the ring and overall grainy aesthetic treatment visually amplifies and works with the raw, playful and seductive vocals with its dark hypnotic R&B beat of the instrumentals.
BlackPink - Pink Venom
The challenge:
Approaching the album design with a more experimental visual, a concept perfect for an alternative rock sounding remixed album.
Creative Process:
Started off this project by collecting the album concept, feelings and sounds of the album; seductive, modern, stylish. Taking inspiration from hyper-pop and rock genre that visually reflect similar sound and feeling to build a strong visual concept.
Concept ideas: 👀
Create a custom chrome typography for the album artwork main piece to match the heavy remixes. Accompanying it with chrome and brightly coloured sculptured frame to bright the fun pop side of BlackPink.
Final Product: 💎
Ultimately producing a digital visual piece that would be great as dance clubs visuals used by DJs. Also works as an album artwork and as a promotional content for an album release.

Myrne - Wandering (ep)
The challenge:
Taking the album first approach to hear the sounds and feelings of the album to create an album cover and visualiser hybrid concept for a virtual album release.
Creative Process:
Started off this project by collecting the album concept, feelings and sounds of the album; calm soothing nostalgia with depth and layers. Highlighting key descriptions and ideas that visually reflect the sound and feeling to build a visual concept.
Concept ideas: 👀
Instant visuals with the sound elements; sharing some resemblance to a calm body of water (soothing, calm aspect). Taking those inspiration from nature, I focused in to one simple and effective aspect; the gentle waves.
Final Product: 💎
Taking the virtual / digital approach to embody the EDM genre while making sure the viewer feels the waves of calm soothing nostalgia. Ultimately producing a digital visual experience for the listener, that also works as an album artwork and as a promotional content for an album release.

Rina Sawayama - Sawayama
The challenge:
Using the current album style to create a well blending consistent but alternative album covers focusing more on experimental style and customised typography. A visual that reflects more of the futuristic and rock influence.
Creative Process:
Listened to the song and finding strong emotions and elements from the track. With Rina’s song, it was powerful! strong rock with rock ballad influence. Taking this into consideration with the recent unique logo, something futuristic and abstract would be perfect.
Concept ideas: 👀
The idea of something strong sharp bold with details. Mixing this with the idea of an angel who comes to cause chaos. Creating this abstract chrome angel album cover to represent the person singing the song lyrics and feelings. Reminds me of Sephiroth from FF7.
Final Product: 💎
Fun extravagant and abstract chrome angel mixing the powerful rock aesthetic with the songs explosive and emotional narrative storytelling.
